Voco Hotels made its debut in the New Zealand market this week with the opening of voco Auckland City Center on Thursday.

The 201-room state-of-the-art hotel is the result of a partnership between Pro-invest Hotels and IHG Hotels and Resorts.

Located on the corner of Albert and Wyndham Street, the hotel is part of a twin-tower development that also includes the 294-room Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Center due to open later this month.

The hotel includes an Italian trattoria, Mozzarella & Co, which operates all day on the ground floor, five meeting rooms, and a rooftop bar, Bar Albert, which is slated to open in mid-June.

Designed by interior designers, Richards Stanisich, the hotel’s rooms incorporate a palette of deep blues, charcoal grays, and pops of signature voco yellow, while materials include warm wood and brass accents.
