Hyatt Launches Corporate Retreat Concept to Boost Business Travel

Hyatt Hotels is expanding its remote work campaign to encourage businesses to connect with colleagues in person at its properties around the world.

Work from Hyatt: Offsite, an evolution of Work from Hyatt, helps travelers work and learn remotely at more than 60 participating hotels worldwide.

“As companies and employers adopt hybrid and remote working models, we’ve heard there’s a need for teams to build strong human connections by meeting in person,” said Asad Ahmed, senior vice president of Hyatt business services for the Americas region.

“Business travel and group bookings are a crucial part of our industry, and we are excited to offer unique ways to meet and reconnect in markets across the country in response to the needs of our customers. .”

Groups of all sizes are encouraged to use Hyatt meeting spaces, custom food and beverage menus, and teambuilding experiences. Through collaborations with local businesses, Work from Hyatt: Offsite offers team-building activities such as an in-town scavenger hunt, Glow Golf, sailing regattas and more.

“Whether companies are looking for activities to unite their team or retreats to align with long-term goals, we expect these reimagined corporate retreat experiences to grow in popularity,” said Hyatt Global Manager, Meetings, Events and Trade Shows, Cardinal Health, Julia Newhard.

“Work from Hyatt: Offsite provides added value for our corporate accounts, combined with impressive hotel amenities such as spas, pools and restaurants, to make in-person meetings more meaningful and memorable.”
