2022 is shaping up to be another big year for Accor in the Pacific as the company prepares to open more flagship properties. Here are three you need to know.

The Porter House Hotel Sydney – MGallery
Location: Sydney, New South Wales
Opening: 1st quarter 2022

Located on Castlereagh Street, this mixed-use development will have a 36-storey tower with a 121-bedroom hotel spread across levels 1-9 with 131 residential apartments above on levels 10-34.

The hotel and residential apartments will fit thoughtfully into the existing heritage-listed 1870s Porter House, which is adjacent to the tower.

On-site amenities include a lobby, pool and fitness center, two restaurants, a fourth-floor bar with a traveling art gallery, private meeting and dining rooms, and a business center.

Morris Hotel
Location: Sydney, New South Wales
Opening: 1st quarter 2022

Sydney CBD’s historic West End hotel, built in 1929 at 412 Pitt Street, Australia’s tallest hotel for over 30 years, will reopen as Hotel Morris after an extensive refurbishment programme.

The 82-room hotel will include a restaurant and bar on the ground floor on Pitt Street, as well as a spectacular rooftop bar.
